Giveaway Alert!

Hi dear readers,

Please check my previous post to enter my giveaway, it finishes this Sunday xxxxx

Today I am sneaking in a bit of knitting. I am knitting up Azure Skies by Lucinda Ganderton. My first lace affair. It gives instructions in a chart or as normal instructions. I have to say I am  not following the chart as I don't want to confuse myself. I am using metal needles which I really do not like using, give me bamboo sticks any day but I don't have anything in the size I want and I need to refrain from spending.

Here is my progress.

The blue is lovely but it won't suit me so I am knitting this as a birthday present for my sister, which will be perfect for her. It is taking an age to knit so it is lucky that my sisters birthday is not until November.

I just have to share this tweedy wool I have bought. I can not wait to start knitting with it. I have mentioned before that I want to get started on my Ravelry que stuff, so I am starting with my very top item Milo. I have purchased the pattern too. It is a little tank style top that I think is adorably cute. I am going to make this for my youngest darling daughter, for a four year old. As although she is only two by the time I finish this little number she will be four :)

It is bank holiday weekend this weekend! Yeah! So looking forward to a bit of a break from work. We will be visiting my husbands family and tonight I am going to my mother in laws 60th birthday celebration meal. I have bought a blouse to wear, what do you think?

Take care dear readers and remember to enter my giveaway xxxxxxxxx Leah xxxxxx
